What is thread count?

Thread counts are the numbers of horizontal and vertical threads per “square inch”. Generally, the higher the thread count, the softer the sheers and more likely to last for longer. It is very important to know, thread count matters, but higher thread count doesn’t mean always better, in fact, there are even tricks to inflating the thread count.

What is Yarn count?

Yarn count is a measure of the thickness of a yarn in knitted or woven fabric and it is important. Bedding yarns are described using English Cotton Count system (know as ECC), the ECC yarn count is the number of 840 yard lengths of yarn per pound. For example: yarn count 30s means 30 lengths of 840 yards which weights one pound.
