It was the year 1969, Finlayson™ introduced a design competition for the students of the Helsinki Industrial Arts School. The Story does not tell whether other great designs were born as well, but one thing we do know, and that is the competition definitely wasn’t fruitless. Without it, we would not have the Elefantti print, the long-lasting classic that is sympathetic yet tasteful.
